Weekend Game Day Recipe. Grilled Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

Starting the first Saturday of October (today) I will be posting one game day recipe a weekend through the NFL play offs. Then for Super Bowl weekend compiling them all into one game day recipe post.

So to kick it off.....

Grilled Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

3 large jalapeno peppers
4 oz of cream cheese (half a package) room temp
4 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese for topping

In a small bowl mix bacon and cream cheese together. Set aside.

Take your peppers and cut them in half length wise.

To de seed them, take a small spoon and scrape the membranes out. If you like a really really spicy treat then leave them in!

Take your filling and fill each pepper.

Top with your cheddar cheese.

Place on a preheated grill for 10 minutes.

And Enjoy =)

We sure did.... my husband and I LOVE these little guys so much. In fact I'm making them again tonight as we eat another on of my game day snack recipes that is for next weeks post. Roasted Garlic French Onion Dip... I want lick the bowl clean its so darn good!

As for game day posts... this is rather funny for me to be doing. Because you see.... We don't watch sports.... bu my husband and I love the game day food though!!!

If I had to pick a sport it would be Baseball... and the Red Soxs. Of course... I'm a New England girl!

I grew up watching football... our family's team is the Colts or the Patriots.... I know aren't they like rival teams? But you see my dad is from Indiana as is most of my family but WE live in New England.

Do you have a favorite sport? If so what is your favorite team... and most of all what is your favorite game day food?!?!
